FINALLY! I have been absolutely dying for the past few months to share my first destination wedding in Savannah, Georgia and now I can!! I first met Erin, Simon, and their adorable daughter at a family mini session. We got to talking and I found out they were engaged and getting married in February. Of course, me being me I just had to ask if they had a photographer! (They didn't and I mentally did a happy dance like a 5 year old!) We later met for coffee and began to plan all the details of traveling down with them to document their continuing love story in the Low Country!
Their wedding day was nothing short of beautiful emotions, sophisticated style, and southern charm! We visited the iconic Forsyth Park in downtown Savannah after the ceremony for the most stunning fountain backdrop and trees utterly dripping with glorious moss!
Now it was time for the reception at Garibaldi's...which meant time for some added accessories for the bridal party and the guests because it was a GREAT GATSBY THEME!! Erin's jeweled head-piece and earrings she added were the perfect fit for a Gatsby party!
For my first ever destination wedding, I couldn't have asked for a better couple, their families, and their friends to share in this experience! The thoughtfulness that was put into every detail of the festivities made everyone who traveled feel at home in Savannah, GA!
